Terms of Service
Last updated: April 10, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SocialCannon, a service operated by Tiny Red Pixel Ltd, including the REST API, web dashboard, MCP server, OpenClaw skill, and any related tools (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, generating API credentials, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. "You" refers to both the individual and the organization.
2. Description of Service
SocialCannon is a headless social media publishing platform that enables you to create, schedule, and publish content to connected social media accounts through:
- A REST API with OAuth2 authentication
- A web-based dashboard
- An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server with 23 tools for AI agent integration
- An OpenClaw skill for personal AI assistant integration
Additional features include content calendar with gap analysis, A/B testing, AI-powered content repurposing, engagement monitoring and reply, UTM link tracking, and optimal posting time suggestions.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account via the dashboard or generate API client credentials. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the security of your API client ID, client secret, and JWT tokens
- All activity that occurs under your account or API credentials
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
API client secrets are shown only once at creation and are stored as bcrypt hashes. We cannot recover lost secrets — you must generate new credentials.
4. Subscription Tiers and Payment
4.1 Free Tier
The Free tier provides limited access to the Service at no cost, including up to 2 connected accounts, 10 posts per billing period, a hard cap of 3 Twitter/X posts per billing period, and access to a limited set of social platforms. Feature limits are detailed in the API documentation.
4.2 Pro Tier
The Pro tier ($15/month) provides expanded access, including unlimited accounts and posts on free platforms, all 4 platforms, up to 50 Twitter/X posts per billing period, A/B testing, timing suggestions, engagement replies, and higher limits across all features. Pro is available as a monthly subscription only.
4.3 Agency Tier
The Agency tier ($49/month) builds on Pro with up to 250 Twitter/X posts per billing period, a 365-day calendar range, expanded A/B testing (20 concurrent tests, 6 variants), priority support, and a 600 requests/minute rate limit. Intended for agencies, power users, and high-volume publishing workflows. Available as a monthly subscription only.
4.4 Enterprise Tier
The Enterprise tier provides custom quotas, dedicated support, SLA, and custom integrations. Pricing and limits are negotiated individually. Contact sales@socialcannon.app for details.
4.5 Payment and Billing
All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
4.6 Refunds
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, contact us within 14 days of your initial subscription or most recent renewal to request a refund.
4.7 Changes to Pricing
We may change pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or the terms of service of any connected social platform
- Publish spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive content
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, threaten, or incite violence against any individual or group
- Publish content that exploits minors
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or subscription tier restrictions
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components
- Resell or redistribute API access without our written permission
- Use the Service to build a competing product
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
6. API Usage
6.1 Rate Limits
API requests are subject to rate limiting: 30 requests per minute on the Free tier and 300 requests per minute on the Pro tier. Exceeding these limits returns a 429 Too Many Requests response with a Retry-After header.
6.2 Authentication
API access requires a valid JWT token obtained via the OAuth2 client_credentials flow. Tokens expire after 1 hour and must be refreshed. You are responsible for securely storing your credentials and tokens.
6.3 MCP and OpenClaw Usage
The MCP server and OpenClaw skill are alternative interfaces to the same API. All rate limits, subscription tier restrictions, and acceptable use rules apply equally to requests made through MCP tools, OpenClaw skills, or direct REST API calls.
7. Content Ownership and Responsibility
7.1 Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., publishing your posts to social platforms, storing analytics data, processing A/B tests).
7.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you publish through the Service. We do not review, moderate, or endorse user content. You must ensure your content complies with the terms of service of each social platform to which it is published.
7.3 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by the AI repurposing feature is produced by third-party language models (OpenAI or Anthropic). You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing. We make no warranties about the accuracy, appropriateness, or originality of AI-generated content.
8. Third-Party Platforms
The Service connects to third-party social media platforms. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for:
- Changes to platform APIs that may affect Service functionality
- Platform-imposed restrictions, suspensions, or bans on your social accounts
- Content moderation decisions made by social platforms
- Data handling practices of connected platforms
By connecting a social account, you authorize us to access and use platform APIs on your behalf within the scope of the permissions you grant during the OAuth authorization process.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Tiny Red Pixel Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.
The MCP server and OpenClaw skill interfaces are provided for integration purposes. You may reference SocialCannon in your tool configurations and skill files as necessary for integration.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
Scheduled publishing depends on our cron infrastructure. While we make every effort to publish posts at the requested time, we do not guarantee exact timing. Posts that fail to publish are retried up to 3 times with a 5-minute backoff.
11. Cancellation and Termination
11.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, your Pro subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to Free tier limits.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon account deletion, we will delete your stored data (posts, analytics, engagement records, connected account tokens) within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Published content on social platforms is not affected by account deletion — it remains on the respective platforms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that content published through the Service will achieve any particular results on social platforms.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TINY RED PIXEL LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tiny Red Pixel Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) content you publish through the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration body. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are waived by both parties.
16. DMCA and Copyright
If you believe content published through SocialCannon infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to legal@socialcannon.app with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) identification of the infringing content, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good faith belief, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the copyright owner or authorized representative.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, for paid subscribers, by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tiny Red Pixel Ltd regarding the SocialCannon service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
