Made for an agent workflow

From a rough idea to an approved publishing plan.

OpenClaw handles the conversation. SocialCannon handles platform rules, credentials, publishing state, and the operational work behind each post.

Repurpose one idea

Turn one source post into platform-shaped drafts with the right tone, length, and format.

Schedule the week

Fill your content calendar, spot gaps, and schedule approved posts up to 30 days ahead.

Learn what worked

Read supported post analytics, compare performance, and find stronger publishing times.

Stay on top of replies

Monitor supported comments and mentions, then review public replies before they go live.

Three-step setup

Add SocialCannon to OpenClaw.

Install the skill from your OpenClaw workspace, add credentials as environment variables, and let the agent discover the SocialCannon workflow.

openclaw skills install socialcannon

Community skill distributed through ClawHub. SocialCannon is an independent OpenClaw integration.

  1. 01

    Create your free account

Get your Client ID and one-time Client Secret from SocialCannon. No card is required.

  2. 02

    Install the OpenClaw skill

Run one command from your OpenClaw workspace. The skill teaches your agent the complete workflow.

  3. 03

    Connect and test safely

Store credentials as environment variables, begin in the sandbox, then connect real accounts with OAuth.

Control before autonomy

Start with a dry run. Keep the final say.

Social publishing has real consequences. The integration is designed to make intent, approval, and credentials explicit rather than hiding them behind a magical “autopilot.”

Approval-first instructions

The shipped skill tells OpenClaw to ask before publishing, replying, retrying, deleting, or disconnecting.

A real sandbox

Exercise the create, schedule, and MCP workflows with simulated posts before connecting a social account.

Encrypted platform tokens

OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and kept server-side.

Scoped agent access

Client credentials exchange for short-lived JWTs with explicit permissions and automatic refresh through MCP.

A practical first run

Try the whole flow without posting anywhere.

Every account includes a sandbox destination. It returns realistic post state and fake URLs, makes no platform network calls, and does not consume your normal post quota.

Questions, answered plainly

Before you connect your agent

Will OpenClaw publish without asking me?

The SocialCannon skill instructs OpenClaw to get explicit approval before consequential actions such as immediate publishing, public replies, retries, deletion, and post-mode repurposing. The underlying API can publish immediately, so keep the shipped safety instructions in place and review any custom agent configuration.

Do I paste my Client Secret into a conversation?

No. Keep the Client ID and Client Secret in the OpenClaw skill environment. The agent references the environment variables without exposing their values in chat.

Which social platforms can it publish to?

SocialCannon currently publishes to Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Platform media rules and approved read capabilities differ, and the skill guides OpenClaw through those requirements.

Does it manage private social DMs?

No. SocialCannon focuses on posts, scheduling, supported public comments and replies, analytics, and content workflows. It does not read or answer private direct messages.

Let OpenClaw plan. Let SocialCannon publish.

Create a free account, test the agent workflow in the sandbox, and connect a real social account when you are ready.
