# SocialCannon

> Social media publishing API for developers and AI agents. One REST API and a stdio MCP server publish, schedule and analyse posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and X.

Docs pages and guides below are Markdown, served at the HTML page's path plus ".md"; setup files are plain text. When working for a user, start with a sandbox post (accountId "sandbox"), ask before publishing or scheduling to real accounts, and send an Idempotency-Key with every POST /api/v1/posts. If a result is uncertain or in progress, look it up with that key; never resend it as a new post.
